"CATWALK TO SIDEWALK" from GHD

The Evans & Co. team recently welcomed Gwen from the GHD Styling Team to the salon for a private styling class entitled "Catwalk to Sidewalk." During the class, salon team members perfected trendy styling and updo skills useful for special occasion styling as well as fun additions to everyday hair.
The Evans & Co. team has become totally sold on the GHD styling tools. We love the fact that the irons are only 370 degrees and are gentle to the hair. The irons are perfect for curling, waving, flat ironing and creating all kinds of fun styles. One inch and one-half inch irons are available for purchase in the salon and as always, any retail purchases gives our salon guest credit in our Perky Privilege Club.

We have a new name! After being confused with several different Girls Nite Out events around town, we decided to 'uniqu-ize' our fabulous BareMinerals event. Victoria & Cheryl take training in New York

Cheryl and Victoria returned recently from a three day "Everything's Included 2" class at the Redken Exchange on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The class focused on new cutting and color techniques with lots of emphasis on creativity! With inspiration from her favorite architecture the Chrysler Building, Victoria created it in hair for the final day of class!! And besides a couple days of seeing New York in freezing temperatures before classes began, they went to see..what else, but the revival of the 60's controversial hit, HAIR, on Broadway!! Unite comes to Evans & Co.

Howard Jones of Unite Eurotherapy brought his English accent, his business knowledge and his great sense of "chair education" to Evans & Co recently. During his three hour workshop with nearly all of the Evans & Co. team, the team broke into small groups and worked to develop a new mission statement for the salon. Each group had it's own emphasis, but all were in agreement that customer service, excellent technical work and "chair education" (that's "How do I duplicate this beautiful hair at home???) were among the most important aspects of what we do at Evans & Co.
